If you want to brew over one shift per day, 3-vessels brewhouse will be your expected one. Steam heating is the most common for 3-vessels brewhouse. The function of mash system is to change the malt into a substance soluble in water, including mash, lauter, kettle, whirlpool. Then, if the wort is clear, it pumped via pipe into fermentation tank for its first fermentation. If the wort is not clear, it needs to be re-filtered.
