The 600L beer brewing system is designed as a brewing room with 3 containers, namely Mash tun / Lauter tun, Kettle / Whirlpool tun and hot water tank.

Brewhouse unit

The heating method can be steam heating, electric heating and direct fire heating. The steam heating needs a bolier. There is electric bolier, gas bolier and diesel bolier. In some countries(like Ireland) the using of boiler is very strict, so we recommend the use of electric heating.

The material can be stainless steel304, stainless steel 316 and red copper. 

The stainless steel advantage is corrosion resistance, good polishing performance, good welding performance and so on.

The copper advantage is classic, generous, high-end, high-grade and so on. Copper beer equipment is widely used in bars, homes, hotels and high-end restaurants and other places.

Fermentation unit 

The fermentation tank are divided into two groups: conical fermentation tank and horizontal largering tank.

Why is the bottom of the fermenter cone 60 degrees?

1. With cone bottom, it is more convenient to recover yeast after main fermentation is completed, and the yeast strain used should have good cohesion. The angle of the cone bottom is usually between 60 degree, which is conducive to the sedimentation and discharge of yeast.

2. The tank body is equipped with a cooling interlayer, and the cooling capacity can meet the process cooling requirements. The cylinder part of the tank is equipped with 2-3 cooling jackets, which is conducive to the sedimentation of the yeast and can keep the yeast activity well when it is reused.

3. The conical tank is airtight and can recover CO2; it can be used as a fermentation tank as well as bright beer tank.

4. The conical fermentation tank has a considerable height, so the natural convection of the beer  in the tank is relatively strong. Convection intensity is related to tank height, tank shape, capacity and cooling system.

6. In order to reduce cost , conical fermentation tanks are mostly set in the open air, so the fermentation tank has a good insulation layer. Commonly used insulation materials are polyurethane, and the thickness is determined by the size of the tank.
