1. Large leak tank 

When using conical vessels, it is a common feeling that there is air leaking in the main parts of the tank. The solution is to check and clean the overpressure and vacuum cleaner frequently, and replace the fixing gasket in time.

2. Beer freezes

Adding ice to beer is often a frustrating affair. Here is a formula for calculating the cold factor of beer: tice = - (alcohol concentration X0.42 + initial wort concentration X0.04+ 0.2).

3. Gradient distribution

Gradient distribution refers to the phenomenon of gradient stratification in the fermentation broth. Because the large fermentation tank is as high as ten meters, the convection is poor, there is a temperature difference between the upper and lower liquids, the liquid density is also different, and the CO2 content is high or low, so this situation is easy to happen. Solution: first install a carbon dioxide cleaning device at the bottom of the water tank, and clean the fermentation liquid at the same time to promote uniform mixing of the liquid; second, rationally use the cooling jacket on the conical water tank; third, set up two sampling points, sample and mix separately, so that the samples representative.

4. Cone contamination

Due to the huge surface area of conical storage tanks, the numerous external piping, and the products or gases that are constantly flowing in and out, they are easily contaminated by various microorganisms.

5. Meter Calibration

In order to prevent equipment errors, one is to use better quality equipment, and the other is to regularly adjust and check to stop the wrong procedure.

6. CIP cleaning effect is poor

When the CIP cleaning effect is not good, there may be two reasons: one is improper selection of equipment or components, and the other is improper use of cleaning agents. The solution is to correct it according to different reasons.
