Brewhouse is the name used for the room where brewing takes place, but the word is also used for the vessels used in the creation of hopped wort for fermentation. A typical brewery is constructed in a logical sequence so that the heating steps, or “hot side,” take place in one area, and the cooling steps, or “cold side,” take place in another area.

Fermentation is the process by which yeast converts the glucose in the wort to ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide gas -- giving the beer both its alcohol content and its carbonation. To begin the fermentation process, the cooled wort is transferred into a fermentation vessel to which the yeast has already been added.

Fermenters come standard with a 3mm thick SS304 tank body with glycol dimple jacket and 2 mm SS304 clad layer.
Each tank has a 60 degree cone, adjustable legs with oversize feet, shadowless side manway, custom racking arm, custom CIP pipe with sprayball, and a 2 in. drain.
