The output of beer brewing depends on the type and size of brewing equipment, how many batches are brewed per day, how many types of beer are brewed, the size and number of fermenters and the beer fermentation cycle are all factors that need to be considered. 1. Calculation of brewing output of saccharification equipment

Home brewing equipment and craft beer equipment used in bars, restaurants, breweries, etc. generally use 500L or 1000L equipment, which is divided into three types: two devices, two tanks and three devices, and two devices for heating water tanks. Saccharify 1-2 batches per day. Due to the intensity of the labor, one batch is actually used per day. The factory beer equipment is a multi-vessel saccharification equipment, brewing in multiple batches, and producing in turn. The size of the saccharification equipment determines the number of brewing batches. For example, three batches of saccharification and brewing can be brewed 24 hours a day, and four batches of saccharification and brewing can be brewed 24 hours a day.

2. Size and quantity of fermenter

Calculation formula: daily output = volume of fermentation tank × number of fermentation tanks ÷ beer fermentation time

Generally, the fermentation time of craft beer is 7-15 days. Let’s take 500L beer equipment as an example: according to the calculation of the fermentation period of 12 days, six 500-liter fermentation tanks are selected. The daily output is: 500×6÷12=250liters. Such an algorithm is suitable for beer equipment with different volumes.
