Ordinary beer, that is, cooked beer, is sterilized by heating to extend the shelf life, but loses the fresh taste of beer; while draft beer is sterilized through microporous membrane filtration to meet the quality requirements, so the taste and nutrients have not changed. And the appearance, smell and taste of draft beer are better than cooked beer.

 

"Draft beer" is actually beer filtered through a microporous membrane. It is different from ordinary high-temperature sterilized beer and canned cooked beer. It is a high-quality beer with natural, no coloring, no sugar and no preservatives. The nutritional value is higher than ordinary bottled beer.

Draft beer is different from bottled and canned beer that has undergone high temperature sterilization, and it is also different from bulk beer that has not been sterilized. It is a fresh beer without added preservatives and sugar. It is understood that draft beer is directly poured into a fully enclosed stainless steel barrel from the production line. When drinking, the draft beer machine is used to charge carbon dioxide, and the draft beer machine is used to control the beer at 3-8°C. The reason for drinking directly into the beer glass from the draft beer machine is to avoid contact between the beer and the air, so that the beer is fresher, thicker, and more foamy.

 

In the market, the price of draft beer is 3-5 times higher than that of the same amount of cooked beer. It is understood that on the one hand, because of its high cost, for example, it is necessary to cool down and supplement carbon dioxide through the fresh beer vending machine; on the other hand, barreled fresh beer The shelf life of beer is not long, and dealers bear relatively high risks. Therefore, the reasons for the higher price may be the following:

 

1. Because it is fresh beer, it maintains the good taste and nutrition of beer;

2. In the production process, strict requirements for aseptic conditions and large equipment investment are required. Membrane filtration or pore filtration is required before filling to remove all microorganisms. Beer barrels and production environment must be strictly sterile;

3. The sales method is unique. It is necessary to cool down and replenish carbon dioxide through the fresh beer vending machine, and use carbon dioxide to pressurize the beer, avoiding the oxidation of the beer in contact with the air;

4. Because the shelf life of fresh beer in barrels is not long, the distributor assumes a certain risk. If it cannot be sold in time, it will cause great economic losses;

 

Note: Draught beer is an ordinary draft beer, because it has not been sterilized by high temperature, its shelf life is short. When drinking draft beer outside, be sure to look at the label outside the barrel and observe the production date, manufacturer and other information.
