All of the systems are capable of producing 190 proof in multiple runs. A vodka column is highly recommended if vodka is the desired product.

The Copper Alembic Whiskey Stills are a simple distillation apparatus used for distilling alcohol. It is from the Arabic language that we get the word ‘alembic’ (al ambic) and alcohol (al cohol). The design with copper onion shaped head and copper work is ideal for making spirits like whiskey, brandy, bourbon and schnapps. These copper whiskey stills carry over flavor and produce a quality spirit.

If you want to make stronger alcohol, you’ll need to distill it first. Alcohol will be low in a weakly fermented combination. The alcohol must be brought to a boil in order for the vapors to rise to the top of the pot, where they are cooled and condensed in a reflux column. The vapors condense into powerful alcohol, which aids distillers in achieving the proper alcohol balance in their drinks. The procedure must be repeated until the appropriate alcohol strength has been achieved. It’s critical to choose distillation equipment that fits the strength of the alcohol, depending on the amount of alcohol produced.

The Picture is of our Jacketed, Steam Heated, and 1000L traditional type whisky Still. These 1000L Stills can be heated by Low Pressure Steam Boiler. This type of still is great for stripping, Rum, Brandy, Moonshine and Whiskey.

The addition of a rectification column can allow the distiller to produce distillate with an ABV beyond 80%, The more trays that are included in a column, the higher the ABV that can be achieved. Each tray is in itself, a single distillation. Pot still size: Hybrid pot stills are available in a variety of sizes from 50L to 5000L.
