District heating boilers are costly to install upfront, and they require extensive maintenance to keep the generators on top. A steam generator is required, which is an additional expense. Therefore, it will definitely increase the overall cost.

Guide

Depending on where the brewery is located, regional policy may not permit the central heating boiler to be installed in the brewery. Before opting to steam, make sure it is allowed in your area.

Safety

On smaller sized development systems, an electric heavy duty steam generator may be the best option if you wish to use heavy steam for home heating.
