Fermentation tanks, or more commonly fermenters, are key components in beer brewing.Fermenters are specialized tanks designed to precisely control temperature and maintain the optimal conditions for fermentation, which occurs once the wort has been transferred from the brewhouse to the fermenter; a conical-bottom design is highly recommended for fermenters allowing for easier yeast harvesting.

The DEGONG brewery equipment is made of high-quality food grade SUS304 with a high degree of polishing. The welds are polished to a sufficient degree.Heating control with overheat protection system and wort sticking. The heating shirt is thermally insulated with polyurethane foam and covered with an outer sheath of food grade stainless steel.

We offers a wide array of fermenters(fermentation) and brite tanks(maturation) tanks that are designed accordingly to our customers’ specifications and their needs. Our fermenter and brite tanks come in three different generalized builds (customizable tanks are also available): single wall, un-jacketed and jacketed. All of our tanks can be pressurized (unless otherwise requested) and the fermenters have an added bonus of functioning as both a fermenter and BBT tank.

The fermentation tank’s are all 304 SS TIG weld construction and polished to a sanitary interior finish. They’re pressure tested to 30PSI and fitted with pressure/vacuum relief valves to protect them. They also have 4 reinforced stainless steel legs, to help take the weight when the tanks are full.
