Brewhouse is always deemed as the heart of a commercial brewing equipment. The function of brewhouse system is to convert the mixture of malt and water to wort which includes sugars, proteins,etc… with the help of different enzymes. A brewhouse system is generally heated by gas, steam or electric. However, steam heating method is the wildly accepted one because of its evenness.

Under the action of the beer yeast, the beer fermentation is series of biochemecal reaction with the fermentable nutrients as the substrate. The wort is converted into drinkable beer through two stages, which are aerobic respiration and anaerobic respiration. The fermentor is usually cylindrical in order to easily harvest the yeast. In the first stage, yeast can reproduce rapidly by consuming oxygen. Once the oxygen in the wort is used up, the second stage begins, during which a large amount of yeast will produce carbon dioxide and alcohol. The fermentation period of different types of beer is different, but it is usually about 14-18 days.

1000L fermentation tank details
1000L bright beer tank, as known as brite tank, called BBT, is generally used in brewpub, restaurant or hotel. The BBT is used to age beer according to brewer’s specific requirements. It has the carbonation stone which allows you to infuse the Co2 into beer. The BBT can also be horitontal brite tank if requested. It is glycol water jacketed and PU insulated.
