The whiskey making process varies from distillery to distillery, but the principles are the same. Anyone who is familiar with whiskey knows that one of the most important factors affecting whiskey is "water".

In solo brewing, the germination process is usually not under one's control. Because this is a very difficult step that involves evenly moistening the wheat and controlling humidity and temperature. Therefore, the budding whiskey distillery strictly supervises the process from germination to drying. This is the first step in making whiskey. Do not over-germinate, the wheat is ready to toast when bud eyes appear, not only adding a layer of flavor to the wheat but stopping the sprouting process. The process takes about a month, and the toasted wheat must be ground so that the malt's enzymes can fully access the starch during mashing. Ground sprouted wheat itself is rich in starch, but contains no sugar. Brewing requires sugar to ferment, and an enzyme in the eyes of germinated wheat converts starch into glucose. Homebrew mashing takes three hours.

Why is so much of the equipment used to make whiskey made of copper? In addition to its well-known heat-conducting effect, copper also has the effect of removing certain foreign substances, such as sulfides produced during the brewing process. So copper is important, especially in distillation. After mashing in the brewery, the cooled wort is taken to the fermenters, where yeast is added.

The yeast used by any whiskey distillery in the fermentation process is a trade secret. Fermentation is when the winery shows its strength. Freshly distilled spirits are clear, but age in wooden barrels for longer periods of time and become discolored. The distilled wine is put into oak barrels and matured slowly. Wine is at its most "mature" when it is steamed in barrels. Whiskey gets richer and mellower over time. You can drink the taste of time.

Before the whiskey is bottled, the blender will formulate it into the exclusive flavor of its own distillery. It can be sold after bottling.
