Unlike other stills used for gin, ours has a whisky head. The whisky head, a staple of whisky distilling, is called so because of the bulbous, onion-like shape it has. Most other gin distilleries, large and craft alike, use what is known as a gooseneck still which is a much simpler design that isn't as good at removing less desired oils from botanicals.
The whisky head encourages most the distilling gin to condense in the head and fall back into the pot which is a process known as reflux. This happens when some of the vapour meets a cooler surface inside the still, turns back into liquid, falls back down the still and is re-distilled. The more reflux there is, the lighter and more complex the spirit will be, as the gin is filtering out the heavier oils (that don't taste good) out of itself.
1-Less welding line:all width of C1100 red copper raw material customized can make sure only one welding line for head dish and kettle shell that is below diameter 2200m, it makes more pretty appearance,to avoid leakage risk because of too much welding line.
2-10plates with a pair of flange, the bubble plates tight embedded inner shell , so the surface appearance looks smooth, pretty, simple and generous.
3-Dephlegmator:adopt counterbore style, it’s benefit to gas-liquidseparation, let alcohol vapor get touch more copper part, reduce cyanide, make better taste spirits.
4-Cleaning ball valve : original manual valves change to customized check valves, this change can reduce operation numbers when still in cleaning.
5-Explosion proof LED light:we make a new design on still column, more safety and convenience to check inside.
6-Add cooling water collect tank:save space and develop stability
7-Add spirits head, heart and tail tank:save space and develop stability
8-Automation:heating control, temperature display,cooling water control,raw material flow control,all valves pneumatic control.

The spirit distilled by DEGONG distilling equipment is with natural flavor instead of artificial blending essence. The spirit is smooth and sweet, combining elegance and balance no matter first distilled or re-distilled spirit. The flavor is much better than the spirit that using traditional still.
