The beer brewing process
1.Malt is ground in the grain mill;
2.In the mash tun the grist is mixed with brewing water from hot water tank to form the mash;
3.In the lauter tun the wort is separated from the spent grains;
4.Brew kettle is used for wort boiling wort(adding hops);
5.Whirlpool is created by circulating the wort. Once thr wort stops rotating the cooling process is initiaterd(pitching yeast)
6. The cold wort is pumped from the heat exchange to the fermentation tank.
7.Once the primary fermentation is completed, the green beer is pumped from the fermentation tank to the serving tank.
8.The green beer matures in the serving tank.

Mash tun
Mash tun is a vessel used in the mashing process to convert the starches in crushed grains into sugars for fermentation. mash tuns are insulated to maintain a constant temperature. The mash tun can be single-functional or can also have a false bottom and spigot so that the sparging process can be done in the same vessel. Steam jacket design.
Lauter tun
The lauter tun is used for filtering and clarifying the sugar liquid (called wort) out of the heated water-malt mixture (called mash) that comes from the mashing tun.The lauter tun typically has the same capacity as the cooking tun and can also be made out of stainless steel or copper cladding. It has a design with a false bottom in stainless steel and raking that has the function of an agitator, a rake and a spent gain remover. This is a very unique and helpful tool because after filtering the spent grains will be removed from the lauter tun, saving a lot of time and energy of the brewmaster.
Boiling/Whirlpool tun
After lautering, the beer wort is boiled with hops in a large tank known as brew kettle. The boiling process is where chemical and technical reactions take place, including sterilization of the wort to remove unwanted bacteria, releasing of hop flavours, bitterness and aroma compounds through isomerization, stopping of enzymatic processes, precipitation of proteins, and concentration of the wort.
At the end of the boil, the hopped wort settles to clarify in a vessel called a "whirlpool tun" which has is a tangential inlet of wort. Thus, a vortex is formed when the wort is infused along the arc inside surface, so that the more solid particles in the wort are separated out. Whirlpool can happen in the kettle because there is no obstacle inside the kettle.
Hot water tank
Hot water tank, called hot liquor tank in a brewery, is the buffer tank that contains hot water that will be used to sparge the grain bed during lautering to extract a maximum of sugars out of the malt. This hot water storage tank is almost always insulated and can be heated through steam or an electric coil.

The fermentation of beer is a complex process, mainly divided into two stages: aerobic respiration and anaerobic respiration. Aerobic respiration is to increase the value of yeast, and anaerobic respiration is to produce ethanol and CO₂. The main metabolites of yeast are ethanol and CO₂. Fermentation products affect the flavor, foam, color and stability of beer, and at the same time endow beer with its typical characteristics.
