Beer brewing main process



The most important two steps in beer brewing is beer Saccharification process and fermentation 


Saccharification contains mash/lauter, boiling/whirlpool.When mill the malt,the hot water tank is start heating. When the degree reaches 55 degrees and send the malt to the mashing tank using the malt lifting machine.Then heated to 65 degrees and keep the temperature for an hour, then up to 75 degrees and keep the temperature for an hour. The purpose of heat preservation is to make enzymes play the biggest role.Then filter the wort through the backfolw until it is clean .Send the clean wort into whirlpool/boiling tank to boil about 1 hour. It needs to add hops in the early (five minutes after boiling )and later boiling(five minutes before the boiling ending).

When the mashing process is finished,the wort flows through plate heat exchanger to cool,then enters into the fermentation tank.The fermentation temperature is about 8-10degree.


Fermentation is ferment cooled wort in fermentation tank after adding yeast and sterile air. Fermentation is to convert maltose in wort into carbon dioxide through the effect of yeast and produce various flavor substances . After a certain period of fermentation, it becomes a mature fermentation liquid, also known as "fresh beer".

 

  • The brewing required equipment is Miller→mashing tank→lauter tank→boiling tank→whirlpool tank→hot water tank→wort chiller→aerobic device→yeast adding tank→fermentation tank→bright beer tank→chiller→glycol tank→CIP cleaning system-control system.

  • After beer brewing,we need to fill it into bottles,cans or kegs,so it will need bottling line,canning line or kegging machine.Some beer suppliers will sell commercial beer,so it will need to be filter and sterilized to improving their shelf life,then filter and pasteurization machine is necessary......And some breweries will sell beer in their bar or restaurant,so they will need beer dispenser.

The heating method of mashing system can be electric heating,steam heating and direct fire heating.

  • Electric heating,it will need a electric heating pipe.Its advantage is save equipment cost,but for some other countries where electricity is very expensive,its using cost is expensive.Then they will choose direct fire heating and steam heating.The disadvantage of electric heating is that it is easy to occur paste pot.

  • Steam heating,it is the most stable and efficient heating method,but it will need a steam boiler(gas boiler,diesel boiler and electric boiler)and will add some equipment cost.

  • Direct fire heating method,for some countries where the electric is expensive and steam boiler using is very strict,this way is suitable.

Fermentation tank will contains all necessary accessories,including breathing valve,hops adding port,CIP arm,pressure gauge,mechanical regulation valve,sample valve,temperature sensor,thermometer,carbonation stone,raking arm,drain outlet.....


Our fermentation tanks are constructed using SS 304 or SS 316 as desired, designed as cylinder conical tanks with cone angle between 65 to 72 degrees. These tanks are equipped with dimple jacketed glycol cooling system and insulated with 50 – 60 mm poly urethane foam. Tanks are fitted with high quality solenoid valves that regulate tank temperature. The cooling surface includes the cone and cylinder area. Independent cooling for cone and cylinder areas can be optionally provided.
