Specifications of fermenter

We offers a wide array of fermenters(fermentation) and brite tanks(maturation) tanks that are designed accordingly to our customers’ specifications and their needs. Our fermenter and brite tanks come in three different generalized builds (customizable tanks are also available): single wall, un-jacketed and jacketed. All of our tanks can be pressurized (unless otherwise requested) and the fermenters have an added bonus of functioning as both a fermenter and BBT tank.

Stainless steel fermentation tanks are also called CCT’s(Cylindrical conical tanks), FV’s(fermentation vessel), primary fermentor or unitanks as they are used both for fermenting and largering.


Certified stainless steel material for all tanks, with 100% TIG welded joints and seams with sanitary interior polish. Dimple Plate jacket for Glycol cooling & high efficient Polyurethane foam insulated. All tanks use Tri-clamp connections. We can custom fabricate any tank to meet your brewery’s space and height restrictions.

  • Material: SUS 304 S/S.

  • Volume: 500l Efficient, 630l total volume, 25% clearance at the top without the arched top.

  • Arched top, 60 degree conical bottom.

  • Double layer with cooling jacket.

  • Working pressure: 2 bar. Tested up to 3 bar.

  • Inner tank thickness: 3mm, outer garment: 2mm.

  • Insulation of polyurethane, thickness: 100mm, sides and bottom are insulated.

  • The cooling cap is welded in points to the tank.

  • Cooling zones controlled separately: cylinder and conical base.

  • The tank is externally polished.

  • The tank is internally polished, all welding surfaces are polished and cleaned with acid.

  • Roughness: 0.4 um

  • 4 stainless steel legs with adjustable feet. Option: Wheel.

  • At the top: CIP arm, Sprayball, combined pressure and suppression valve (PVRV), hobport (blind plate with 4″ triclamp)

  • On the side: Glycol Inlet and outlet, thermo sensor and sampling port.

  • Manhole in the top or side of your choice.

  • At the bottom: drain valve, beer outlet, racking arm, carbon stone unit and thermo sensor.

  • CIP rotating sprayball.

  • Mechanical pressure valve mounted on CIP arm.

  • Prepared for half batches.

  • Input and output for glycol cooling.

  • Ball valve and solenoid valve to control glycol.

  • Piping is assembled before shipment.
